Work Process

September  – October : Getting to know one another. Students use their smartphones/ tablets to create a speaking avatar ( or in order to introduce themselves. Vokis are uploaded on a padlet wall( different for each country) where other students can view and comment.  Then each country prepares a self grading Google form quiz to test their partners on what they know about their country (there can even even be an online interview /video conferencing if the internet connection is reliable or a short competition where the country with the most correct answers is the winner).

.November  – December :Discussing the modern daily life or routine of a teenager with a special focus on «modern» relationships leading to social networking

Students from all countries use Google docs to create a survey in order to “analyse” what use of social networks teens have in their country. The survey is published using After collecting their results they use Skype to communicate and compare their results with their partners. Students use to form groups coming from two different partner countries each. The groups are assigned different roles in writing and sharing articles in which they compare and contrast the use of social Media in their country .Team A collects the information on the two countries chosen. Team B describes the results as presented in the survey. Team C proofreads the texts and takes appropriate pictures. All teams use Google docs  in order to collaborate in writing the texts. Team D creates a presentation using or a final activity students use or Stickymoose to vote for their favourite social networking application

January –  February: Students discuss  bullying (at school, cyberbullying …)  and  create an awareness poster,which is displayed on TwinSpace and in school libraries/ websites Alternatively they could create a song, poems and lyrics about bullying and upload them on twin space.

February  -March: migration (for various reasons, climate change, wars, …) After discussing students’ viewpoints they could organise an exhibition in their schools showing how different countries cope with the issue, where the migrants come from, why, the consequences … Interviews of refugees or immigrant can also be organized Online tools such as  Slideshare or Animoto are some options for the exhibition.

+ an e-photo album showing the different aspects of migration and how their countries cope with this issue,people’s attitude towards immigrants οr a photo collage using muzy.

May: Evaluation and Dissemination :Students cooperate on a shared document such as Titanpad to create an online survey with a view to evaluating the project.The survey is distributed to students, teachers and parents both in written or online form using survey

Expected Results -Outcomes:

* Articles in a foreign language published on-line;

* E-journal or blog with an organized structure , containing articles written by all teams involved.
